India and Southeast Asian countries share a strong civilisational connect. India's relationship with Southeast Asia is continued to be shaped by the changing geo-political environment. India's engagement with the Southeast Asia is deeply rooted in culture, commerce and connectivity. Both highly value friendship and mutual trust. The relationship between them has truly become multidimensional and has scored an impressive performance over time at bilateral and regional levels.
