Benjamin Chaud, nacido el 29 de enero de 1975 en Briançon ( Altos Alpes ), es un artista, ilustrador y autor francés de literatura infantil. Estudió dibujo en la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas de París y en la Escuela Superior de Artes Decorativas de Estrasburgo con Claude Lapointe . Vivió varios años en Marsella, luego en París, y trabaja en Die in the Drôme, en un taller que comparte con otro autor e ilustrador, Gaëtan Dorémus.
