Alastair Bruce nació en Port Elizabeth (Sudáfrica) en 1972 y estudió en la Universidad de Ciudad del Cabo, donde empezó una licenciatura en ciencias y acabó haciendo un máster en Literatura inglesa. Lleva más de diez años viviendo en el Reino Unido y se dedica a la edición electrónica. Está casado y tiene una niña pequeña. Marcas en la pared (Wall of Days), su primer libro, ha sido también traducido al alemán y obtuvo reseñas entusiastas en su aparición. Es autor también de otra novela, Boy on the Wire, publicada en 2015 y recibida con igual unanimidad de crítica.
Alastair Bruce was born in Port Elizabeth (South Africa) in 1972 and studied at the University of Cape Town, where he began a degree in science and later completed a master's degree in English Literature. He has lived in the United Kingdom for more than ten years and works in electronic publishing. He is married and has a young daughter. Marcas en la pared (Wall of Days), his first book, was also translated into German and received enthusiastic reviews upon publication. He is also the author of another novel, Boy on the Wire, published in 2015 and met with similar critical acclaim.
