Dee W. Ford, MD, MSCR, is Division Director and Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Ford is a physician scientist and leader in critical care medicine with expertise in health services research, health professional education, and quality improvement. Her clinical and research interests are focused on different aspects of critical care, with an emphasis on telemedicine, health disparities, and implementation of best practices. Jillian Harvey is an Associate Professor in Healthcare Leadership and Management at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and the Director for the Doctor of Health Administration Division. She received a Master of Public Health from Oregon State University. Dr. Harvey received a PhD in Health Policy and Administration, with a concentration in Health Economics, from the Pennsylvania State University. Her research expertise includes program evaluation, healthcare quality improvement, and mixed methods research approaches. James T. McElligott, M.D., MSCR, is the Executive Medical Director for Telehealth at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and an Associate Professor in the Division of General Pediatrics at MUSC Children's Hospital. He oversees the activities of the MUSC Center for Telehealth and is Co-Chair of the South Carolina Telehealth Alliance. Shawn Valenta is the Vice President of Healthcare Cloud Services at Wellpath, one of the largest private correctional healthcare companies in the country, where he is leading clinical transformation initiatives to redesign healthcare delivery models for an often-overlooked population. With nearly 20 years of clinical and health care leadership experience, Shawn has a demonstrated record in successfully achieving nationally recognized results with a focus on quality improvement and cost-efficiency.
