A compilation of Bahai writings that deal with the subject of obedience to God. From a Bahai perspective, the Prophets or Manifestations of God, the Founders of the worlds great religions, are as divine Physicians Whose laws, teachings, and admonitions contain the remedy for the ailments of mankind. To follow the teachings and observe the laws prescribed by the Manifestation of God for the day in which we live is, from a Bah perspective, to fulfill a major part of our duty as human beings and to align ourselves with the divine guidance available to us. From this perspective, obedience can be seen as a source of empowerment and as the core of personal spiritual development.
