Lauren Singer was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) when she was 16 years old. Since then, she has made every effort to teach others about MS, which she has done mostly through writing. She has written Get out the Way I'm Dancing (2005, Double Story), A Measure of Time: My Life with MS (2000, UCT Disability Unit) and Fred, at your Service Ma'am (2004, Spearhead Press).
