Ana Maria Peredo is Professor and Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Social and Inclusive Entrepreneurship at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, Canada. She is a brown "mestiza' of mixed blood from Peru. Her maternal, Tallan-side family and their community were displaced by colonization.
